Already, CITIGROUP and it's purchase of the Niseko Higahsiyama Ski Resort has started a steady moving forward of confidence in investing in this unique area. In late 2007, Richard Lee from Hong Kong accquired all the outstanding shares of Harmony Resort Limited, the owning company of Hanazono Ski resort, which is part of the Niseko UNITED Group of 4 Ski resorts.

It is anticipated that Harmony Resort, with this added boost of capital, will be commencing the construction of their Ski Centre at the based of the No. 1 Hanazono Quad lift later this year. World renouned Mountain Resort planners, ECOSIGN from Whistler/Blackcomb, Canada, are in town and frantically working away at helping HARMONY realize their dream.

With all this movement forward on both sides of Niseko Hirafu Ski Resort, plus the large aquisition of some large tracks of land in the Moiwa/ Annupuri region by some American investors, towards the end of 2007, this year is set to see a development in a large scale, not only in Niseko Hirafu ski resort, but also around the entire base of the Niseko Annupuri mountain.
