| Fixed Asset Tax |
This is similar to the annual rates on property. It is a yearly tax and is comprised of the land and buidling tax.
It is calculated using the governor value ( also know in Japanese at the "koteishisanzei", the value that the local authorities value the property) which is not the market price, but a value calculated by the local government.

| Flat Interest Rate | Is calculated on the original amount of the mortgage for the whole term of the loan. |
| Floor Area Percentage | The allowed percentage of gross floor area to gross site area. |
| Freehold | An owner's interest in land where the property and the land on which it stands both belong to their owner indefinitely. |
| Frontage | The portion of property that borders a roadway or body of water. |
