The Niseko Club, or as it is now kow as "The Australian Alpine Club Niseko - AACNiseko for short, is located in Izumikyo 2 area of Niseko Hirafu Ski resort village. The lodge is fully equipped with all the mordern facilities one would need, including 8 ensuited rooms, ski locker/drying room, spacious dining room, and large commerical kitchen. Most rooms have great views of either the ski mountian, and/or the majestic mt. Yotei. The lodge is kept clean, and is managed by local staff that will help you enjoy your stay here in Niseko, Japan. 

 The AAC Niseko is  owned and operated by the Australian Alpine Club. The club also oversees ski lodges at Mount Buller, Falls Creek, Mount Hotham, Dinner Plain , Perisher in Australia. As a result guests at the AAC Niseko commonly comprise a mix of AAC Niseko members, guests of its members, members from other affiliated ski clubs, and guests with a passion for skiing, snowboarding, or wintersports, alike. Most of the AAC Niseko's guests are Australian, or Australian ex-pats living abroad.

 For a small price, anyone is able to become a member of the AAC Niseko, which gives one access to discount accommodation rates, throughout the year, but also reciprocal discount rates in other lodges that the club oversee, within Australia. Niseko, known for its deep powder snow, boasts 57 runs, 38 lifts and over 47 km of manicured slopes. Niseko's longest run is 5.6km, and as well as the powder, the terrain offers first timer slopes, half-pipes, quarter pipes, table tops, mogul fields and tree runs.
At Niseko, all disciplines are catered for.

 Two of the popular restaurants in Izumikyo that are very close to the AAC Niseko lodge are:

Maru (illuminated red sign with a black circle) close to the Kutchan bus stop, about 150 metres from the lodge. English menus are available and English is spoken. Bookings can be made by telephone (0136 22 5020).

Izakaya Sakae is visible from the lodge, less than 50 metres away and easily identifiable by the colourful flags and banners at the front. A more traditional Japanese experience with English menus available, but little English spoken. Bookings can be made (in Japanese) by telephone (0136 22 4198).
